Today's Scripture Galatians 6:7-8
7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
It is a foundational truth in life that whatever you give out is what will come back to you. If you don’t like the way your life is going today, you’ve got to stop and ask yourself, “What do I need to change? What am I sowing, because I don’t like what I’m reaping?”
We might not be able to change the way other people treat us, but we can change the way we treat other people. And we will soon discover that we’ll never achieve lasting satisfaction until we learn to get along with other people and sow love into their lives.
What’s the key to getting along with others? It’s putting yourself in their place, instead of putting them in their place. It’s about treating others the way you want to be treated—or better yet, how they want to be treated. Being a people person means you put yourself in someone else’s place so you can relate to that person.
