Today's Scripture: John 13:34-35

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

God’s love never quits. The love of God is faithful, loyal, and steadfast. God’s love endures to the end and never fails. When you understand that love is not a feeling, you can always choose to love instead of being swept away by whatever you feel.

When you choose to love someone, you take on a great responsibility. No longer can you do whatever you want without regard for those closest to you. You are accountable to the ones you love. In the professional world, you must take responsibility and be accountable for your actions, good or bad, successful or unsuccessful. Being professional is a lot like walking in love. If you would conduct yourself in such a manner on the job, choose to behave toward others in a certain way because  it is a requirement in the workplace, how much more should you choose to treat those you are in a covenant relationship with, such as your spouse or your brothers and sisters in Christ?
