THE FOOD BANK at HERITAGE:
The Food Bank at Heritage was launched in 1984 out of the back of Pastor Dennis Leonard's work truck. As the need for food grew, he leased a store front in Denver for food distribution...the story and Food Bank still continues today, giving away more than one million pounds of food to the Denver / Aurora community.
THE FOOD BANK at HERITAGE MISSION:
The Food Bank at Heritage's Mission is to support families in the community by eliminating hunger through the distribution of free, supplementary food items. There are no income or household requirements to receive assistance.

Tuesday's | 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Saturday's | 10:00 Am - 1:00 PM

PLEASE NOTE: UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, THE FOOD BANK AT HERITAGE WILL UTILIZE A DRIVE-UP DISTRIBUTION SERVICE ONLY. CARS WILL BE SERVED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
Types of Items Available: An assortment of canned and dry goods, and household items (depending upon current inventory).
Drive Thru Prayer is available for personal prayer requests.
Food is provided thanks to the kind donations from the Heritage congregation and in partnership with The Food Bank of the Rockies, Target, Walmart, Panera Bread, Entenmann's, and Costco.
Wish list for donations: canned vegetables and fruit, applesauce, hot and cold cereal, pancake mix, syrup, rice, pasta, spaghetti sauce, chili, soup, tuna, canned chicken, bread, peanut butter, jelly, juice, lemonade mix, baby formula, Ensure, toilet paper, diapers and hand sanitizer.
Donations of canned food and non-perishable items may be brought to the church Monday - Thursday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM or Saturday's from 10:00 AM - Noon.
