What We Believe

At Heritage Christian Center, our faith is built on unshakable truth. We believe the Bible is God’s Word—alive, powerful, and the foundation of everything we teach, believe, and live out.

The Bible – God's Inspired Word

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God—without error and completely trustworthy. It is the final authority in every area it addresses, guiding us in faith, life, and purpose. Though written by human hands, it carries the voice, heart, and authority of God Himself. Every page reveals His nature, His love, and His plan for humanity.

God the Father – Creator, Sustainer, Loving Father

God the Father is the Creator of all things, the Ruler of the universe, and the source of life, love, and grace. He has eternally existed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created us for relationship with Him, but sin separated us. Out of love, He made a way back—through Jesus Christ. We are saved not by effort, but by His grace, received through repentance and faith.

Jesus Christ – God the Son, Our Savior and Redeemer

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine. He lived a perfect, sinless life and gave Himself willingly as a sacrifice for our sins. His death on the cross paid the price we could never pay. He rose from the dead, offering salvation to all who believe in Him. Jesus is the only way to the Father, the only mediator, and He will one day return to complete God’s redemptive plan.

The Holy Spirit – Our Guide, Comforter, and Empowerer

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son—fully God, fully present. He makes us aware of our need for Jesus, and He dwells within every believer. The Holy Spirit gives us strength, understanding, guidance, and conviction.

Beyond this, we believe in the "baptism of the Holy Spirit", a distinct and powerful experience that brings a deeper dimension to our faith. It is an overflow of God's presence that enriches our walk, empowers our witness, and aligns us more fully with His will.

Salvation – God's Free Gift of Grace

Salvation is a gift—pure and undeserved. No amount of good deeds or self-effort can earn it. It comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. When we believe, repent, and receive Him, we are forgiven, made new, and welcomed into eternal life. This is the beginning of a relationship with God that transforms us from the inside out.
